Sunset on the Charles River from the window of my hotel room at the Westin
Copley Place in Boston, MA.

Copley Place in Boston, MA at night. From this point of
view, the tower in the background on the left is the Westin Copley Place hotel, the tower
in the right is the Prudential building, and the building on the right with the arched
windows is the Boston Public Library.

Traffic in downtown Los Angeles, CA in the evening. This
photograph was taken from an elevated pedestrian walkway just outside of the Westin
Bonaventure, where I was staying that evening.

Westin acclaims this building, the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los
Angeles, CA, to be one of the most photographed buildings in the world. So, here's
my $.02!! I stayed at this hotel whilst visiting LA last winter of 1998.

Notre Dame du Paris, as viewed from the River Seine at dusk
against a beautiful purple sky.

The Eiffel Tower, one of the world's most recognised landmarks. This photo
was taken on the River Seine, and the display on the tower says J-629 Avant L'An
2000. That means that when this picture was taken, there were 629 days before the
year 2000. Can you figure out what day it was?

The Champs-Elysees is one of the most famous streets in Paris. However,
it's also one of the most dangerous streets for taking photos like this one!!

The ruins of a huge Roman aqueduct in southern France called Pont du Gard, seen
here as viewed from a scenic observation point after a long climb!
