Nathan Roemer's experience in live sound production now spans more than seven years. His most extensive sound production work has been with Mercyhurst Preparatory School in Erie, PA. He has designed, directed, and engineered sound for nearly all MPS theatrical productions from the winter of 1994 until the spring of 1998 as well as three dance/instrumental concerts and one PMEA Junior District Choral Festival.

Nathan has also produced live sound for various church congregations in the area and done whatever he could do to gain experience and greater expertise in this area.

Some of Nathan's awards and recognitions in live sound production include:

Nathan produced live theatrical sound for Mercyhurst's production of Nunsense at the National Educational Theatre Association (ETA) Conference. This Mercyhurst production was a mainstage show at the 1995 conference in Lincoln, Nebraska, distinguishing it as one of the top seven musical theatre productions in the entire country for that year.

Nathan also received the award for 'Best Musical Interpretation' for his sound production work on The Tempest at the Greenville Shakespeare festival in January of 1996.
