MISSION:

To build genuine relationships founded in God’s love forged in the experience of cross-cultural living, working, and worshipping "side by side" and to strengthen the church through the Christian faith and ministry of its youth.

ABOUT INDIA:

The Indian destination is the city of Hyderabad.  Once the capital of an ancient Muslim kingdom, Hyderabad is a city bustling with four million people, including Muslims, Hindus, and a minority of Christians.  Hyderabad is the perfect example of the diverse lingual, ethnic, and religious mixture that makes up India, the second most populous nation in the world.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

In India, the Side by Side team will be staying at a seminary in Hyderabad.  From there, we will be ministering "side by side" with the people of India to the people of India through work projects to improve the community, worship, faith sharing, and cultural exchange.

THE PROGRAMME:

This one-month programme involves joining a group of about 15 other youth in MN. After intense training, we travel to Hyderabad, India for the mission project. The programme concludes with IMPACT, a weekend of mission experience collaboration, celebration, and learning.
